Sustainability Report Health and Safety of Stakeholders GRI [3-3] [416-2] Maintaining a Safe Environment for All Safeguarding stakeholders’ health and safety at Perennial Holdings’ premises is fundamental to the business. Perennial Holdings’ HSC assists the Board in all its workplace health and safety matters. The Company strives to promptly eliminate all identified health and safety hazards and continuously identify any potential risks throughout its operations. Every year, the Company reviews Health, Security and Safety risks together with other sustainability risks as part of the Group’s ERM framework. The review helps to ensure that proper action plans are in place and relevant to mitigate any actual and potential health and safety risks. In addition to the Group ERM framework, Perennial Holdings has established a Health, Safety and Security (“HSS”) policy, along with a robust framework to manage activities at its operational assets with the aim of ensuring the health and safety of its employees, tenants and visitors. All stakeholders are encouraged to promptly report potential hazards or safety incidents to their immediate liaison or Customer Service Counters. After such reports are received, they are channelled to the relevant department for further investigation, if necessary. Prior to the commencement of work, all activities at Perennial Holdings’ premises are subject to rigorous checks regarding their proposed health and safety control measures. Health and safety inspections are conducted at all assets by the assets’ executives and the corporate health and safety team to monitor performance and implement applicable follow-up actions. Perennial Holdings believes that a healthy and safe environment positively contributes to the physical and mental well-being of all stakeholders. Therefore, it invests in employees’ health and safety training and mandates employee attendance for all statutory and in-house functional health and safety training. Attendance rates are monitored to ensure that all employees benefit from this initiative.
