OVERVIEW PERFORMANCE SUSTAINABILITY FINANCIALS APPENDIX This report is developed with reference to sustainability reporting requirements listed in the SGX-ST Listing Manual (Rules 711A and 711B) and the GRI Standards. Building on prior periods’ sustainability reports, Perennial Holdings will continue to adopt the internationally recognised GRI Standards as a comprehensive framework that encourages transparent and consistent reporting and allows for comparability against industry peers. Perennial Holdings is also committed to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and has adopted four UN SDGs for the current reporting period, with the latest addition of Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) in this reporting cycle. This addition is directly relevant to Perennial Holdings, given its ownership, development and management of healthcare assets, as well as ownership, operations and management of healthcare services. The alignment of targets, ongoing initiatives and GRI disclosures with the SDGs serve as a guiding framework for Perennial Holdings. This mapping process articulates the formulation of the Company’s business objectives and the strategic actions it undertakes to enhance its contribution to sustainable development. Perennial Holdings has not sought external assurance for the information disclosed within this report but will consider doing so as its reporting matures over time. An electronic copy of the full FY2023 Sustainability Report (“SR2023”) is available for download at https://www. perennialholdings.com APPROACH TO SUSTAINABILITY Sustainability Governance Structure GRI [2-9] [2-12] [2-13] [2-14] The Board of Directors at Perennial Holdings oversees the Company’s sustainability practices and implementation. They play an integral role in providing oversight to identify, manage and monitor Perennial Holdings’ material Environmental, Social and Governance (“ESG”) factors and performance, including any potential and actual impact on the environment, people and economy. The Board receives annual reports on the progress of approved goals, critical concerns and impacts. In addition, the Board is also updated and undergoes training when there are major changes in the sustainability landscape. This enables them to effectively manage risks and opportunities and meet stakeholders’ expectations. In addition, Perennial Holdings’ Board of Directors also reviews and validates the Sustainability Report submitted by the Sustainability Executive Committee annually. The Sustainability Executive Committee supports the Board and is responsible for approving and setting the direction for Perennial Holdings’ sustainability roadmap, along with associated goals and targets. The Committee is also responsible for setting and approving action plans for the sustainability roadmap. A separate Sustainability Steering Committee, comprising executives from the Singapore and China assets teams, supports the Sustainability Executive Committee. The Steering Committee proposes action plans aligned with the sustainability roadmap and provides guidance to the Sustainability Working Committee to implement and operationalise various sustainability initiatives. The Steering Committee, also responsible for overseeing the implementation, progress tracking and impact of action plans and goals, will also raise critical concerns identified, whenever applicable, to the Executive Committee and Board during quarterly meetings. The Sustainability Working Committee comprises General Managers of Development Projects, Centre Managers of Operating Assets and the Sustainability Working Team. They are responsible for implementing action plans and targets approved by the Sustainability Executive Committee and ensuring the integration of Perennial Holdings’ sustainability efforts into all development projects and operational assets. The Working Committee meets regularly to assess opportunities for collaboration and address any potential or actual issues that arise on ongoing sustainability initiatives. If necessary, the Sustainability Working Committee will submit a report to the Sustainability Steering Committee, in addition to timely updates, to facilitate enhanced oversight of Perennial Holdings’ sustainability initiatives.
