Mapping to the UN SDGs The UN SDGs were launched in 2015 and serve as a framework for international cooperation to promote economic, social and environmental sustainability. There are 17 SDGs with 169 targets that address global challenges such as poverty, gender inequality and climate change. Perennial Holdings reaffirms its commitment to integrate three key UN SDGs identified in FY2022 (SDG 5, 13 and 16) into its sustainability strategy by aligning the Company’s sustainability initiatives to these goals. In this year’s report, Perennial Holdings has chosen to further align with UN SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-being), recognising its significant role in the healthcare sector and its direct impact on ensuring healthy lives and promoting well-being. The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the importance of collective health and well-being and Perennial Holdings is committed to its role as a responsible owner, developer and manager of healthcare assets as well as owner, operator and manager of healthcare services. Ultimately, as an integrated real estate and healthcare company, such commitment and dedication to sustainability are also extended to all of the Company’s stakeholders. 95 ANNUAL REPORT 2023
