Comprising 17 goals and 169 targets, the SDGs address critical global challenges – including poverty, inequality and climate change – and call for collective action from governments, businesses and civil society to create a more resilient and inclusive world. Perennial Holdings reaffirms its commitment to the SDGs by continuing to integrate six key SDGs (SDG 3, 5, 8, 12, 13 and 16) into its sustainability strategy, aligning the Company’s initiatives with these global goals. In this year’s report, Perennial Holdings has further expanded its alignment to include SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy). In support of SDG 4, Perennial Holdings is committed to providing every employee with access to meaningful and high quality learning and development opportunities. This commitment extends beyond traditional training; it reflects the Company’s belief that continuous education is a strategic driver for individual growth and organisational excellence. By investing in structured learning pathways, skills development programmes and ongoing professional training, Perennial Holdings ensures that employees are equipped with the knowledge, competencies and confidence needed to grow and thrive in a fastchanging business environment. In alignment with SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), Perennial Holdings reinforces its commitment to environmental sustainability by prioritising energy efficiency across its operations. By integrating technologies and practices that lower energy intensity, such as high-efficiency building systems, smart controls and optimised lighting and cooling, the Company supports the global transition toward cleaner energy use. In FY2025, Perennial Holdings continued to pursue energy-efficiency upgrades across its developments in Chengdu, Tianjin and Foshan through its partnership with Keppel. These improvements to cooling and ventilation systems help reduce environmental impact and operating costs, while enhancing energy affordability, resilience and sustainability across the Company’s portfolio. (Refer to ‘Implementation of Energy-Saving and Renewable Energy Practices across Properties’ section for more details). As an integrated healthcare and real estate company, Perennial Holdings recognises that its responsibility to sustainability extends across its entire value chain. By aligning its sustainability initiatives with the UN SDGs, the Company seeks to create long-term value for its business while contributing positively to the well-being of the communities and environments in which it operates. This holistic approach ensures that Perennial Holdings not only advances global sustainable development priorities but also addresses the diverse needs, expectations and challenges of its stakeholders. Through sustained commitment, the Company continues to build a resilient, responsible and future‑ready organisation.
