Alongside ongoing support for VOS, they collaborated with organisations such as the National Heritage Board to bring back the Singapore Night Festival, sparking immense excitement. The festival, featuring mesmerising creative projection mapping exhibits by artists Ashley YK Yeo, Sadiq Mansor (also known as 249.png) and Chris Chai (also known as Cosmicchai) on the CHIJMES Hall facade, drew significant public attention and welcomed the community to participate and enjoy a diverse range of activities. In China, Perennial Jihua Mall in Foshan partnered with the local government’s Culture and Sports Office to organise and support various children and youth sports competitions, including the Youth Karate Championship, Youth Fencing Championship and Chess tournaments for primary school students. Funds raised from registration fees were used to purchase school supplies for underprivileged children in rural mountainous areas. For the ninth consecutive year, Perennial Qingyang Mall in Chengdu maintained its collaboration with the local television station and Alipay platform to solicit funds and in-kind donations of preloved clothing for residents in the rural mountainous area. Throughout the campaign, over 1,500 pieces of apparel were collected and sent to the beneficiaries. Employee Volunteerism Perennial Holdings’ employees dedicated a total of over 1,265 volunteer hours to serve the community in Singapore and China. In Singapore, the team also brought festive cheer to the seniors at Vanguard Senior Care (Senja Centre), a centre offering senior daycare, dementia daycare and rehabilitation services, by organising an afternoon of engagement along with arts and crafts activities during the mid-autumn festival period. The highlighted topics encompassed the early detection and prevention of lung cancer, Alzheimer’s disease awareness, the role of artificial intelligence in healthcare and surgical interventions for cerebrovascular disease. Separately at Tianjin, the Perennial Eldercare Community provided health talks and screenings, medical consultations, chronic disease management, home care services and home visits for elderly living alone in the community.
