In FY2024, Perennial recorded a total of 1,335 employees across its reported properties, with 168 in Singapore and 1,167 in China. Out of these employees, 74% are female and 26% are male. The full breakdown of employees by region and gender can be seen in Figure 11. 50% of Perennial Holding’s workforce in the reported scope were hired on a permanent contract basis, while the other half is on a temporary contract basis. The increase in temporary staff in China is attributed to the establishment of a new department for Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture, as well as the addition of a new ward at the Xiehe hospital. The temporary staff primarily serve as nursing staff, general practitioners and rehabilitation therapists.
