The medical care component, will comprise a general hospital, rehabilitation hospital and specialist hospitals. The 501-bed Class 3 tertiary Perennial General Hospital features an asset-light co-medical space concept, enabling doctors and medical groups to focus on providing medical services without investing in medical facilities. They can rely on shared ancillary services managed by Perennial Holdings, such as diagnostic imaging, laboratory and pharmacy facilities. The medical component also features the operational 502-bed Class 3 tertiary Perennial Rehabilitation Hospital, Perennial Specialist Hospitals with a combined capacity of 300 beds and the 34,358 sq ft Perennial Specialist Centre Kunming, encompassing medical clinics, doctor groups and additional third-party diagnostic imaging and laboratory services. This integrated medical ecosystem will provide patients with access to highquality, multidisciplinary healthcare in a single, seamlessly connected environment. The eldercare component within the healthcare city houses the 1,248 bed- Perennial Living, the 577 bed- Perennial Assisted Living and the 316 bed- Perennial Nursing Hospital. Specialised health and wellness services span hydrotherapy, TCM, physiotherapy, physical and occupational rehabilitation therapy and dementia care. Seniors will also be supported by the adjacent medical facilities, ensuring an uninterrupted continuum of care. The hospitality component of the healthcare city hosts the largest multibranded hotel cluster in Yunnan Province. The hotel cluster features approximately 2,000 rooms across six hotels ranging from 3- to 5-star brands, which include the 315-room 4-star ‘Hyatt Place’ and 342-room 3-star ‘LIVING MINYOUN’. Collectively, these hotels will offer over 156,722 sq ft of MICE spaces and an array of premium dining destinations catering to business and leisure travellers. The healthcare city’s location within Yunnan is significant as the province will serve as China’s strategic gateway to South and Southeast Asia, with Kunming South HSR Station acting as a vital catalyst for this regional integration. Positioned at the heart of this network, Perennial Healthcare City Kunming will benefit from exceptional international connectivity, including direct high-speed rail access to the borders of Vietnam and Laos in just 3.5 and 5 hours, respectively. Domestically, the hub links to 23 provincial capitals. The upcoming Chongqing-Kunming HSR line, slated for completion in 20261, will further enhance regional synergy by reducing travel times to Chengdu and Chongqing to under three hours.
