Sustainability Report Value Personal Well-being of Employees Perennial Holdings strives to promote a supportive work environment that values family and personal well-being. The Company has been enhancing employees’ benefits yearly. In FY2023, two new leave types, Family Care Leave and Birthday Leave, were introduced for all employees in Singapore. Family Care Leave, a paid leave, is designed to assist employees in meeting the caregiving requirements of their immediate family members. Birthday Leave introduced to recognise the significance of personal celebrations, promote work-life balance and encourage self-care. During their birthday month, employees are granted paid leave to celebrate this special day with their loved ones. In the same year, Childcare Leave was introduced for all employees in China. This initiative aims to cultivate a workplace culture that prioritises family support, enabling employees to take time off to attend to their children’s needs. To ensure that all employees are familiar with the Company’s benefits, processes and policies, Perennial Holdings introduced an Employee Handbook and Guidebook that are readily available on the Company’s Human Resource portal. Connect, Collaborate and Celebrate with Employees Perennial Holdings regards its employees as invaluable assets and strives to maintain good employee engagement by organising events and activities. These activities are designed to enhance interaction and synergy across departments, build team morale, and strengthen camaraderie amongst teams. Employees look forward Teambuilding, China Birthday Celebration, China Perennial Holdings emphasises the importance of creating a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected. In efforts to reflect the Company’s commitment to gender equality and workplace inclusivity and diversity, Perennial Holdings commemorated International Women’s Day and International Men’s Day with meaningful gestures of appreciation to recognise individual achievements beyond work. International Women’s Day Celebration, China International Men’s Day Celebration, Singapore to fun-filled and engaging events such as Perennial Laser Tag and Durian Party, where they can relax and interact informally, outside the formal work environment. In China, employees participated in various engagement and team building activities to strengthen team cohesion and improve team dynamic. At Perennial Qingyang Mall in Chengdu, the team embarked on an outdoor hike to build healthy connections. Meanwhile, the team at Perennial Jihua Mall in Foshan engaged in team bonding games and immersed themselves in an island experiential learning journey.
